This consultation relates to the regularity of worship (see note 1 in document)

Regular worshipper is defined as a person who has attended church at least fortnightly (with an allowance for holidays and illness) over the previous 12-month period. Those who have recently moved to the area and who worshipped previously in a different church will be asked to supply a reference from that church so that the full year period is covered. The Governors do not give a higher preference to families where both parents worship.

In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these admissions arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship

The consultation period is 2nd December 2020 until 13 January 2021

Any comments received will be considered by the Governing Body.
