National testing for state schools takes place at the end of Year 2 (for Key Stage 1) and Year 6 (for Key Stage 2). Year 2 results are based mainly on Teacher Assessment (where a child's attainment level is the professional opinion of the class teacher, moderated by his/her peers and externally verified every three or four years).

In Year 6, children take externally marked tests in Reading and Maths and these are published alongside Teacher Assessment for Writing.

We are very pleased to announce that our Sats results for 2014 are some of the best we have ever achieved.

Below you will find comparisons with national attainment data.
