Spring 2017 PE Update from Mr Kenrick
The Sports Department at Immanuel has kicked off with some pace since September. The children have really benefited from the before school, lunchtime and after school clubs. Participation has increased and the variety of sporting opportunities has grown. The school now has a sporting calendar that selected children will part take in different events to represent the school. FISA has been brilliant in donating funds to the school to make our teams look more fabulous.
Hakinakina continue to work closely with the PE department to deliver high quality coaching sessions and have a real input into the development of the children.

ISA Football Academy - The school football team have made an excellent start to the season, winning 5 games out of 5 and sitting top of the Lambeth Schools Blue Division. The team is made up of Years 3, 4, 5, and 6. The players train twice on a Friday and are hoping to bring some silverware home to the school this season. Your support is very much welcomed when they play on Saturday mornings!!
ISA Junior Football Academy - We've now launched a new young football team. These players are seen as the future of the school football team, they are still very young and there is so much talent coming out of Year 2. They train on a Wednesday morning and will look to play matches against others school during the school day.
Girls Football - Girls football is something we've really tried to develop. The girls are keen and really show a good attitude towards the sport. During this year our aim is to schedule fixtures for them to play against others school and participate in local school tournaments.
