Parent Volunteers

We are indebted to the number of parents who play an active role in the life of the school as volunteers.  This includes volunteer readers, those that have helped with particular projects; those who accompany classes on trips or come in on occasions to speak to classes and work with groups.

If you would like to volunteer at the school or feel that you have particular skills, talents or experiences that you would like to share with the children, please speak to your child’s teacher or contact Ms Vivien Hamilton, our School Business Manager.

During the academic year, parents have participated in storytelling; taught children about comic strips and informed children about their line of work.  In previous years, parents have helped to arrange drama workshops, taught children about the skills involved in being a disc jockey and helped to maintain the plants and flowers around the school.  As you can see, the list is wide ranging, but all very much beneficial to the school.

Further guidance and information about the role as a volunteer within Immanuel will be available within this section soon.
