After agreeing to take an additional class for three consecutive years within our one form entry school, we were extremely pleased when the Local Authority committed to making our school a permanent two-form entry school in April 2012.
Significant building work ensued, which saw the removal of four temporary cabin classrooms and the creation of our state of the art, eight classroom building across two floors. This was named the Amazon building, in line with the whole school theme of rivers. In addition to this, a new studio hall was created; the office and kitchen areas were refurbished and both playgrounds along with the Early Years outdoor space were renovated. These changes have ensured that our school is well equipped to cater for the increase in demand here at Immanuel & St Andrew C.E. Primary School.
The pictures below show the journey and the creation of our new two-form entry school which began in April 2013 and was fully completed in October 2013.
