In 2013 the school supported and drew attention to the challenges and difficulties that local businesses were facing during the closure of the railway bridge at Streatham Common Station.  Through our letters and posters, we were able to gain the attention of both Network Rail and Lambeth Council, who came in to speak to the school to inform children about the action they were taking to help local shopkeepers in Greyhound Lane.

We very much value our close relationship with Sainsbury’s Supermarket, who have supported a number of school events and fundraising campaigns.

We are pleased to host meetings and participate in events organised by Friends of Streatham Common.

We support and raise money for a number of local causes such as the Royal Marsden Hospital, Cancer Research, Comic Relief and Operation Christmas Child.

Each year, Immanuel Children, parents and staff participate in the Race for Life 5K run at Battersea Park to show our support for those suffering from Cancer.
